HAPPY FEET Art Project —sure to chase the blues away!

Nothing like stepping your feet into some squishy, ooey-gooey mud or paint to beat the blues and feel good all the way down to your toes! The only thing happier than these feet were the smiles and giggles they inspired. . . and oh—if you could only have heard the happy humming (my favorite thing about art time with my son). All you need are some paints, a big strip of parchment paper or an old white sheet, and a pair of little (or big!) happy feet. Oh… and do this one outside, ok??

Step #1: Get ready to STAMP . . . or STOMP

Squirt out some wild paint combos onto parchment paper, wax paper, tin foil, newspaper, or a tray, in pools wide enough for happy feet to take a dip! Also, have your child smock up (we use papa’s old T-shirts) or put on old play clothes!

Step #2: DIP IN!
